Exit readiness for owner-led companies

Sell a business that runs without you.

Buyers pay more for companies they can understand and operate on day one. Process Pros documents how your business actually works and puts AI and automation to work where it counts, so you go to market with a cleaner, more transferable operation.

What we do

Two ways we raise the value of your business.

Most clients need some of both. The assessment tells us which, where, and in what order. And because AI only works as well as the processes and data underneath it, the same groundwork pays off whether a sale is two years away or not on the calendar at all.

Service one

Process & workflow documentation

We map how your operation really runs and turn it into a playbook a new owner can pick up and use from day one.

  • Workflow maps for every core operation, from sales to delivery to billing
  • Step-by-step SOPs with owners, tools, and handoffs named
  • Roles and responsibilities matrix, including owner-only tasks moved to the team
  • Systems, vendor, and access inventory ready for the data room

AI & automation

We find the manual work that costs you the most and recommend, or build, the AI tools and automations that take it off your team's plate.

  • Prioritized list of automation and AI opportunities with expected time saved
  • Implementation of the highest-value wins before you go to market
  • Documentation of every automation so it transfers cleanly to the buyer
  • Team training so the new tools stick after the sale

Who we work with

Who we work with best.

  • You plan to sell in the next 6 to 36 months
  • Much of how the business runs depends on you or a few key people
  • Your processes live in people's heads, inboxes, and spreadsheets
  • Your team spends hours each week on repetitive admin work
  • You want to walk into diligence with answers, not homework
  • You're not selling yet, but you want to use AI and know your processes or data need to be in order first
For brokers & M&A advisors

Bring us in before you list.

We help your clients show up to market with documented, efficient operations, which means fewer surprises in diligence and stronger conversations about value. Referral partnerships welcome.

Questions

Common questions.

How early should we start?

Ideally 12 to 24 months before you plan to list. That leaves time to document, automate, and show a few quarters of results. If you're closer than that, the assessment will tell you what's realistic to finish in time.

We're not planning to sell. Is this still for us?

Often, yes. Companies that want to adopt AI usually find the same blockers a buyer would: undocumented processes and messy or scattered data. We clean up that foundation first, so your AI projects have something solid to build on. If you do sell later, the work is already done.

Do we have to do both documentation and AI?

No. Some businesses mainly need their operations written down. Others are already documented but run on too much manual effort. The roadmap recommends only what moves your value.

Will this disrupt the team?

We work around your schedule with short interviews and working sessions. Most of the writing and building happens on our side, and your team reviews and approves.

Is this confidential?

Yes. Many owners haven't told their team about a sale. We position the work as operational improvement and sign an NDA before we start.

What do we own at the end?

Everything. The SOPs, workflow maps, and automations belong to you and transfer to the buyer as part of the business.
